Investment Support for New Technology (This applies to Sweden only)
Want to make your grazing management more efficient with Skygraze Virtual Fencing?
There are currently great opportunities to receive government investment support when investing in our system.
Virtual fencing was approved for use with cattle and sheep in Sweden on 1 January 2026. The Swedish Board of Agriculture classifies it as a new technology that enhances competitiveness, making it eligible for investment support. The purpose of this support is to encourage the adoption of innovative and sustainable production systems in Swedish agriculture.
How Much Investment Support Can You Receive?
40% investment support:You may receive up to 40% of your eligible investment costs.
Valid for 2026–2027: The support covers investments made during this period.
Minimum investment amount:
Currently (until 31 December):The minimum total investment required to apply for the grant is SEK 200,000.
From 1 January 2027:The minimum investment threshold will be reduced to SEK 50,000.
What Does the Grant Cover?
✅ Eligible for support:Hardware purchases, including GPS collars and related technical equipment.
❌ Not eligible for support:Ongoing operating costs, such as subscription fees.
Important Things to Consider Before Applying
Apply through your local County Administrative Board: You submit your application digitally via the Swedish Board of Agriculture’s e-service, but your regional County Administrative Board assesses the application and makes the final decision.
First come, first served – limited funding: The grant is subject to a budget allocated to each county. As funds are limited and may run out, we recommend submitting your application as early as possible during the application period.
Apply before placing your order:Your application must be registered with the County Administrative Board before you make your purchase. The invoice date or order date must not be earlier than the application date.

How It Works – Step by Step
Contact us for a quote:We’ll prepare a complete quotation and supporting documentation for your application, tailored to the number of collars you need.
Submit your application:Log in to the Swedish Board of Agriculture’s online service, Mina sidor(“My Pages”), attach your quotation and select Investment Support for Increased Competitiveness – New Technology.

Order Skygraze:Once you’ve submitted your application and received digital confirmation from the Swedish Board of Agriculture, you can place your order with us.
Apply for payment: Once the equipment has been delivered and paid for, submit the required documentation (invoice and proof of payment) to receive your grant.
